A total of 19 new colleagues have been transferred to the Herford police force this year. The head of the authority, District Administrator Jürgen Müller, welcomed every colleague transferred to the district police authority at a ceremony in the main conference room of the district of Herford. "We are particularly looking forward to welcoming you this year and to the associated support and strengthening of the district police authority," emphasized the head of the authority, District Administrator Jürgen Müller. The seven female officers and 12 male officers will be deployed in the security service and in the criminal investigation department. One colleague will return to the investigative service of the Crime Directorate as an experienced detective. The allocation of personnel counteracts the annual retirements and transfers. Most of the officers are young graduates of the NRW Police and Public Administration College. However, there are also experienced officers and several experienced officers who have been transferred to their home district or place of residence.
