Accident on a slippery road

(jd) A 28-year-old woman from Enger was driving her Renault on Engerstraße in the direction of Bünde on Friday (January 31). On a left-hand bend, her vehicle skidded, presumably due to the slippery road surface, and crashed into an oncoming VW. This was being driven by a 41-year-old man from Hiddenhausen. The man and his 40-year-old female passenger were slightly injured and taken to hospital by ambulance. The 28-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in the accident and was also taken to a nearby hospital, where she was admitted as an inpatient. The material damage to the vehicles is in the five-figure range.
