Addendum to the report from 16.05.2025: Cyclist injured in accident

(jd) A cyclist was injured in a traffic accident last Thursday (15.5.). The accident occurred at around 8.07 p.m. on Bruchstraße. The driver of a silver VW involved in the accident continued his journey without fulfilling his obligations as a party to the accident. According to initial investigations by the Herford police traffic department, the VW is a Golf Plus model. There is a distinctive sun sticker on the windshield with a face depicted on it. The driver of the vehicle is about 45 to 50 years old and has a beard and gray hair tied back in a braid. Witnesses who can provide information about the driver or the silver VW Golf Plus are asked to contact the Herford police traffic department on 05221/8880.
