(hd) On Thursday morning (27.03.2025) at around 07:20 a.m., an employee of the city of Herford noticed damage to the windows of an office building located on the "Ewiger Frieden" cemetery grounds. The windows had several lever marks. Apparently, previously unknown perpetrators had failed in their attempt to break into the building. The time of the crime is between Wednesday afternoon (26.03.2025) and the time of discovery. Criminal proceedings have been initiated. Witnesses who have observed anything suspicious on the cemetery grounds are asked to contact the police by telephone (Tel.: 05221 / 888-0).
