(jd) A 75-year-old man from Bünde called the police on Wednesday (May 21) after an accident occurred in a parking lot on Wilhelmstraße: The man was trying to park his Audi in a parking space when he bumped into a van parked right next to it. The 75-year-old first went into the supermarket and then realized on his return to the cars that the injured party had already left the parking lot. Damage to the Audi in the area of the front right bumper and the mudguard indicates that similar damage was also found on the vehicle of the previously unknown man. The Herford police traffic commissioner's office is therefore asking possible witnesses who can provide information about the accident or the injured party to contact them on 05221/8880. The material damage to the Audi of the Bünder is in the three-digit range.
