Break-in at youth center

(jd) The employee of a youth center on Magdeburger Straße noticed a break-in yesterday (26.2.) at around 12.45 pm. Previously unknown suspects forced their way into the building and forced other doors inside. After an initial search, they stole a games console including controllers and cash from a cash register. They also ripped a wall safe from its anchorage and stole this too. The building had been locked at around 7.10 p.m. the previous evening. The Herford criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation and is asking possible witnesses who observed anything unusual in the Magdeburger Straße area on Wednesday night to contact them on 05221/8880.
