Bünder woman seriously injured in accident

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on Stiftstraße on Tuesday (22.07.) at 1.50 pm. A 50-year-old woman from Bünde was driving her Mini Cooper in the direction of Stockfeldstraße when she initially drove into the oncoming lane. Another road user, who was driving in the direction of the B239 on Stiftstraße, managed to avoid the oncoming car. However, the woman then crashed her car into a Mercedes parked on the side of the road and then crashed into the wall of a house. First aiders looked after the woman from Bünder, who was seriously injured in the accident, until the emergency services arrived. She was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Property damage of around 20,000 euros was caused.
