Burglary in a first floor apartment

(jd) A woman from Hiddenhausen noticed on Saturday (April 12) at around 4 p.m. that the patio door of her apartment in Friedrich-Ebert-Straße was open. A short time later, she discovered that previously unknown suspects had apparently gained access to her apartment through this door and had forcibly broken open a jewelry box in the bedroom. The high-priced jewelry inside was no longer there. In addition, a second jewelry box and its contents were completely missing. The property damage is in the mid four-figure range. The time of the crime can be narrowed down to between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Possible witnesses who saw something conspicuous in the Friedrich-Ebert-Straße area during this time or who can provide information about the strangers are asked to call 05221/8880.
