A children's daycare center on Hahnenstraße in Löhne was broken into last weekend (20.7.). Early on Sunday morning at around 8.30 a.m., an employee noticed that previously unknown perpetrators had apparently gained access to the building complex through the front door. Inside, all the rooms and cupboards were searched. According to initial investigations, two cash boxes with cash in the three-digit range, a camera, a JBL music box and a Toni box with various figures were stolen. The kindergarten was last in normal all-day operation on Friday until around 4.00 pm. The strangers used the time until Sunday morning to break into the building. The criminal investigation department is asking witnesses who can provide further information about the break-in to call 05221-8880.
