(hd) On Tuesday evening (10.12.2024) at 8:15 p.m., a 53-year-old woman from Herford was driving her car on Brandheidestraße in Herford in the direction of Werler Straße. After the vehicle had passed the Am Freibad junction, it veered off the road to the left. It then crashed into a lamp post and several traffic signs. The police officers deployed to investigate the traffic accident determined that the driver was clearly under the influence of alcohol. A blood sample was taken. The total damage caused is estimated at around 12,000 euros.
