Collision at an intersection

(jd) Yesterday (11.12.), a traffic accident occurred on Bünder Straße at around 10.05 am. A 74-year-old woman from Herford was driving her Mercedes on Wellbrocker Weg and intended to turn right onto Bünder Straße. As she entered the junction, she collided with a 64-year-old woman from Herford. She was riding her pedelec along Bünder Straße and was crossing the junction of Wellbrocker Weg at the time of the accident. Due to the force of the impact, the woman fell onto the road and was seriously injured. She was taken to hospital by an ambulance that was called to the scene.
