(jd) The Herford police traffic commissioner's office is asking the public for help: A 61-year-old woman from Herford was crossing Wittekindstraße last Friday (16.5.) at around 1.00 pm. At the same time, the previously unknown person involved in the accident was driving his yellow velomobile on Wittekindstraße in the direction of Bahnhofstraße. There was a collision between the two. As a result, the unidentified man inquired about the pedestrian, who initially stated that she was uninjured. The two parties involved in the accident therefore did not exchange personal details. Afterwards, however, the 61-year-old discovered that she was injured and sought medical treatment. The Herford police traffic commissioner's office is asking anyone involved in the accident or witnesses who can provide information about the incident to contact them on 05221/8880 in order to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
