Collision when turning

(jd) A 19-year-old from Hiddenhausen was driving her e-scooter on Löhner Straße in the direction of Hochstraße yesterday (16.12.) at 5.56 pm. At the same time, a 51-year-old woman from Hiddenhausen was driving in the opposite direction in her VW. When the 19-year-old presumably wanted to turn left into a parking lot, she collided with the VW. Due to the force of the impact, the e-scooter driver first hit the windshield of the VW and then onto the road. The 19-year-old was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to hospital by ambulance, where she was admitted as an inpatient. Property damage of around 4,200 euros was caused.
