Cyclist injured in traffic accident

At 07:28 on Monday (02.09.2024), a 16-year-old girl from Bünder was riding her bicycle on the sidewalk of Herforder Straße, coming from Weseler Straße, in the direction of Haßkampstraße. At this time, a 38-year-old man was intending to turn out of Südring onto Herforder Straße in his car. In doing so, he overlooked the cyclist, who he saw approaching from the right. This resulted in a collision. The 16-year-old was slightly injured as a result. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. Only minor material damage was caused to the vehicles involved.
