Cyclists collide

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on the cycle path on Bergertorwall at 5.14 pm on Tuesday (24.6.). A 44-year-old man from Herford was riding his pedelec in the direction of Wilhelmsplatz, while a 44-year-old woman from Herford was riding her bike in the direction of Hinckleyufer at the same time. At the Bergertorwall / Mindener Straße underpass, the two road users collided and both fell onto the road. Both were slightly injured as a result of the collision and were treated by an ambulance that was called to the scene. The woman from Herford was then taken to hospital. Material damage was caused to both bicycles.
