(jd) The employee of an elementary school on Waldstraße informed the police on Sunday afternoon (7 July): previously unknown suspects forced the wooden door to a storage hut and severely damaged it. Several wooden panels were broken out of the door, leaving a hole. The suspects were able to get into the hut through this hole, but after an initial inspection they were unable to remove any stolen goods. Among other things, large items of play equipment are stored in the hut. The last time someone was at the storage hut was on Friday at 12.00 noon. At that time, the door was still intact. Overall, the damage to property was in the three-digit range. The police are asking witnesses who observed anything conspicuous in the Waldstraße area between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon to call 05221/8880.
