Fiat crashes into tractor

(jd) Yesterday (13.11.), a 31-year-old man from Herford was driving his tractor on Bahnhofstraße in the direction of Schützenstraße. At the same time, a 77-year-old woman from Löhn was driving her Fiat on Wittekindsstraße in the direction of Bahnhofstraße. The woman initially stopped at the waiting line, but then drove into Bahnhofstraße without giving the tractor right of way. The 31-year-old tried to avoid the collision by braking, but the tractor crashed into the Fiat. The force of the impact then pushed the Fiat into another Fiat parked at the side of the road belonging to a 33-year-old man from Löhn. The 77-year-old was slightly injured in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. The property damage amounts to around 13,000 euros.
