(hd) On Thursday (21.08.2025), a 65-year-old woman was walking along the Am Fichtensee path in Löhne towards a nearby department store at around 12:00 noon. When she was near the underpass of the A30 highway, a cyclist approached from behind. The cyclist snatched the handbag from the woman in Löhne as she passed and made off in the direction of the town center. The 65-year-old woman was unharmed. The stolen handbag contained cash, debit cards, identity documents and various personal papers. Due to the dynamic nature of the situation, the victim is currently unable to describe the perpetrator in more detail. The criminal investigation department is therefore asking possible witnesses who can provide information on the facts of the case or the fleeing perpetrator to call 05221 / 888-0.
