Hit and run

(jd) Residents of the street Langenkamp heard a bang on Sunday (12.5.) at around 8.00 pm. When they went to look for the cause, they noticed two people speeding away on a bicycle and an e-scooter. On the street, a witness noticed that her Skoda, which she had parked in the direction of Weseler Straße, was damaged and informed the police. The police officers who arrived encountered two males in the vicinity who matched the description given by the residents. The cyclist was a 16-year-old from Bünde. He was riding his bike on Langenkampstraße coming from Weseler Straße and lost control of his bike during a braking maneuver. He then touched the Skoda and continued on his way. The damage to property amounts to around 500 euros. The 16-year-old's legal guardians were informed of the accident.
