(hd) A traffic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in which one person was seriously injured. A 41-year-old man from Melle was driving his Suzuki motorcycle from the direction of Bünde on Holser Straße in Rödinghausen at 2:35 pm. On a left-hand bend, the vehicle veered off the road to the right. The motorcyclist crashed and suffered several injuries as a result. He had to be taken to hospital. The motorcycle was damaged. The damage to property is estimated to be at least 800 euros. Witnesses to the accident described that the motorcycle was traveling at an appropriate speed. The reasons for the motorcycle leaving the road are being investigated by the police.
