Opel hits a truck

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on Quernheimer Straße at 4.15 p.m. yesterday (19.3.). A 57-year-old man from Kirchlengern was driving his truck in the direction of Lübbecke. He intended to turn left into a driveway and initially allowed oncoming traffic to pass. Immediately behind him was a 48-year-old woman from Hüllhorst in her Opel. She did not manage to brake her vehicle in time and hit the truck with her car. The woman was slightly injured in the accident and was taken to hospital by an ambulance. The scene of the accident was closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The Kirchlengern volunteer fire department cleaned up the spillage. The total damage to property amounted to 22,000 euros.
