Road traffic hazard

(jd) A 21-year-old woman from Bünde was driving her Fiat on Lübbecker Straße yesterday (12.5.) when she veered off the road to the right at around 10.30 pm. She first hit a tree, then the vehicle overturned before coming to a standstill. The police officers called to the scene found that the woman was showing signs of intoxication. A corresponding test was positive. The 21-year-old, who was slightly injured in the accident, was taken to a nearby hospital for examination and to have a blood sample taken. The woman's driving license was confiscated and she was banned from driving vehicles requiring a driving license. Lübbecker Straße remained closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The property damage is in the four-digit range.
