(jd) At around 3.30 p.m. on Monday afternoon (19.5.), the employee of a clothing store in Brüderstraße noticed two men who wanted to leave the store quickly. The alarm in the entrance area was triggered, so the employee called the police. The officers who were called to the scene found the two men, a 34-year-old from Hamm and a 32-year-old from Cologne, in the Neuer Markt area. Items of clothing worth over 200 euros from the clothing store's stock were found on the 32-year-old. As both men have already been reported to the police for similar offenses, they were taken into custody in Herford to prevent further offenses.
