(jd) A traffic accident occurred at 2.50 p.m. on Sunday (15.9.). A 41-year-old man from Herford parked his VW on the right-hand side of Wellbrocker Weg. Just as he was about to leave his car, a silver Skoda approached in the same direction. The man from Herford opened his car door and pushed it into the side of the Skoda. The man from Herford then spoke briefly with the driver of the Skoda, who then continued on his way in the direction of Kiebitzstraße. The damage to the VW is in the three-digit range. The 41-year-old reported the accident to the police. The Herford police traffic commissioner's office is now asking the driver of the Skoda involved in the accident to contact them on 05221/8880 to clarify the facts of the case.
