Skoda crashes into tree

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on Dünner Straße on Monday (January 6) at 8.00 am. A 26-year-old man from Bünde was driving in the direction of Lübbecker Straße when he lost control of his Skoda on a bend. He veered off the road to the left and hit a tree before crashing head-on into another tree. Due to the force of the impact, the car skidded into the ditch. The police officers who arrived at the scene noticed signs of alcohol consumption in the 26-year-old during the accident investigation. A voluntary breath test confirmed this assumption and the man's driving license was confiscated. As the man from Bünde was slightly injured in the accident, he was taken to a nearby hospital. Blood samples were taken from him there. The material damage amounts to around 11,000 euros.
