Spenger woman loses control of her car

(jd) A 43-year-old woman from Spenge was injured in a traffic accident yesterday (11.7.). She was driving on Herforder Straße from the direction of Lenzinghausen at 9.55 pm when she lost control of her car. She initially skidded onto the edge of the road several times before the Peugeot swerved and hit a tree. From there, the car was thrown back onto the road and came to rest in the ditch about 50 meters further on. A witness to the accident looked after the slightly injured woman until the emergency services arrived. She was later taken to hospital in an ambulance. The property damage is around 5,400 euros.
