(jd) The employees of a fast food restaurant on Ringstraße noticed an open fence on Saturday (March 1) at 6:18 a.m. as they were leaving the premises: behind the two fence elements that had been forcibly opened, they then saw a white van with two men behind it. Next to the vehicle were two waste grease garbage cans belonging to the fast food restaurant. The employees then approached the unknown men, who were around 40 years old. Without loading the stolen goods, they immediately got into the van and fled the premises in the direction of the highway. In doing so, they hit the vehicle of an employee, causing damage to the vehicle. The police officers called to the scene initiated a manhunt in the immediate vicinity, but the search was unsuccessful. The investigation at the owner's address of the van is ongoing.
