(jd) A witness noticed on Tuesday (15.10.) that previously unknown suspects had gained access to a vacant building on Brunnenallee. They presumably forced a patio door in order to enter the house. Inside the house, which is used by the fire department for training purposes, the strangers took various items. According to an initial inspection, these included four fog machines, various lamps and dummies of different ampoules. The amount of damage is still being investigated by the Herford criminal investigation department. The period of the crime extends over the days from last Tuesday (8.10.), 22.00 hrs to yesterday, 10.15 hrs. Possible witnesses who made suspicious observations in the Brunnenallee area or who can provide information on the facts of the case are asked to contact 05221/8/8880 or one of the police stations.
