Theft

(jd) A woman from Vlotho was in a grocery store on Meyrastraße yesterday (30.10.) at 1.30 pm. There she was asked by a woman she did not know to take an item from the shelf for her. She then handed the stranger the desired item and noticed when paying that her purse was no longer in her shopping bag. She had put it in her shopping cart. The purse contained personal documents, bank cards and a small amount of cash. The unknown woman is about 20 years old, 160 cm tall and has long blonde hair. She was wearing a gray anorak at the time of the crime. Herford police are asking witnesses who can provide information about this woman to contact them on 05221/8880.
