(jd) At around 1 p.m. on Saturday (22.2.), a man from Herford discovered that the rear window of his VW was damaged. He had parked the vehicle in his carport on Im Esch street at 1.30 p.m. the previous day. The unknown perpetrator or perpetrators stole several tools from inside the vehicle, including a cordless drill and a hole saw, with a total value in the four-figure range. Witnesses who can provide information about the incident are asked to contact Herford police on 05221/8880.
