(um) As yet unknown perpetrators stole a scooter that was parked on Oberingstraße over the past few days. The owner had parked the moped (KKR), which cost several hundred euros, against a tree on the street with a steering wheel lock. The vehicle was registered for the old year with a blue insurance license plate. In this context, the police advise securing such scooters with an additional wheel lock. If possible, vehicles can also be secured with a chain or similar long locks. This works very well on trees and also on poles, if available.
