Traffic accident

(jd) Yesterday (14.4.), a 20-year-old from Löhne was driving his Mercedes on Königstraße in the direction of Bischofshagen at around 8.50 pm. Immediately behind him was a 17-year-old scooter rider, also from Löhne. At the junction with Jahnstraße, the 20-year-old intended to turn his car around. He first drove a little way into the junction and then drove back onto the Königstraße carriageway. This resulted in a collision with the 17-year-old, who fell onto the road due to the force of the impact. The scooter rider was slightly injured in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The damage to property amounts to around 2,500 euros.
