(hd) On Thursday (21.08.2025) at around 20:00, a traffic accident occurred in Bünde in which a person was seriously injured. A 22-year-old man was riding his motorcycle on Osnabrücker Straße in the direction of Bruchmühlen. At this time, a 25-year-old woman in an Opel Corsa intended to turn from Sunderbachstraße, which was a minor road, onto Osnabrücker Straße. In doing so, she overlooked the motorcyclist approaching from the left. This resulted in a collision. The 22-year-old was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital. The vehicles involved in the accident were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away. The material damage caused is estimated to be at least 7500 euros. Osnabrücker Straße had to be closed for the duration of the rescue operations and the police accident investigation.
