Traffic accident

(jd) A 33-year-old woman from Bünde was driving her Mercedes on Lange Straße in the direction of Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße at 1.40 p.m. yesterday (19.11.). At the same time, a 48-year-old man from Lübbecke was driving his bus on Wedekingstraße in the direction of Borriesstraße. When the 48-year-old then entered the intersection, there was a collision with the Mercedes driver, who had the right of way. As the Mercedes became wedged in the front of the bus, the car was dragged along for several meters. The 33-year-old woman and her 40-year-old passenger from Bünde sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. A 12-year-old and a 13-year-old girl from Bünde, who were both on the bus, were also slightly injured in the collision. After receiving medical treatment at the scene, both were handed over to their parents or guardians. Property damage of around 20,000 euros was caused.
