(jd) A 43-year-old man from Herford was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Monday (16.12.) at 7.55 am. He was riding his e-scooter on the cycle path on Diebrocker Straße in the direction of Herford. At the same time, a 63-year-old man from Herford was driving his Mercedes in the opposite direction on Diebrocker Straße and intended to turn into a parking lot. While turning, he collided with the 43-year-old, who then crashed onto the hood. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
