Traffic accident

(jd) A traffic accident occurred at 6.02 a.m. on Monday morning (13.1.) at the Auf der Freiheit / Abteistraße junction. A 62-year-old woman from Herford was driving her Skoda on the left-hand turning lane of the street "Auf der Freiheit" and intended to turn into Abteistraße. When the traffic lights turned green for her, she drove into the intersection, where she collided with an oncoming Citroen driven by a 60-year-old woman from Herford. She drove her car in the direction of Berliner Straße and was slightly injured in the accident. Property damage of around 10,000 euros was caused.
