Traffic accident at the junction

(jd) A traffic accident occurred at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday (3 August) at the junction of Hansastraße and Holzhauserstraße. A 44-year-old woman from Kirchlengern was driving her VW on Holzhauser Straße in the direction of Hansastraße. The woman first stopped at the intersection and then intended to continue on Horstsiekerstrasse. At the same time, from the 44-year-old's point of view, a 48-year-old man from Bad Essen was driving his Mercedes on Hansastrasse from the right. There was a collision between the VW and the Mercedes, which had the right of way. The two drivers and the 45-year-old female passenger of the man from Bad Essen were slightly injured in the accident and taken to a nearby hospital by various ambulances. The damage to the vehicles amounts to around 8,500 euros.
