Traffic accident at the junction

(jd) A 27-year-old man from Löhn was injured in a traffic accident on Neue Landstraße on Wednesday (June 4). The man was driving his Audi towards Herforder Straße at around 4.10 pm. At the same time, a 36-year-old man from Herford was driving his Mercedes on Salzuflener Straße in the direction of Neue Landstraße. As he turned onto Neue Landstraße, he collided with the driver from Löhn, who had the right of way. Due to the force of the impact, vehicle parts were thrown against the Mercedes of a 24-year-old man from Bad Salzuflen, who was traveling on Neue Landstraße in the direction of Wehrendorfer Straße. As the man from Löhn was injured in the accident, he was taken to hospital in an ambulance. The material damage to the vehicles is in the four-digit range.
