Traffic accident at traffic circle

(jd) A traffic accident occurred at 8.33 p.m. on Monday (30.9.) at the traffic circle on Borriesstraße / Dünner Straße / Lübbecker Straße. A 23-year-old man from Bünde was driving his Mercedes on Borriesstraße in the direction of the traffic circle. As he entered the traffic circle, an Audi drove into the traffic circle from Lübbecker Straße without giving way to the Mercedes. The 23-year-old swerved out of the way and braked hard, but was unable to avoid the collision. The officers who arrived noticed signs of alcohol consumption in the driver of the Audi, a 38-year-old man from Rödinghausen. He was therefore taken to the Bünde police station to have a blood sample taken. The 38-year-old is also not in possession of a valid driver's license. Property damage of around 6000 euros was caused.
