Traffic accident on a slippery road

(jd) On Friday (22.11.) at around 6.20 a.m., a traffic accident occurred on the snow-slippery Herforder Straße. A 25-year-old man from Minden was driving his Nissan in the direction of Exter. A 59-year-old woman from Herford was driving her VW directly in front of him and had to slow down due to the weather conditions. During the braking process, the tires of the Nissan locked, causing it to collide with the VW on the slippery road. Due to the force of the impact, the VW was pushed into the oncoming lane. Here, the car collided with the oncoming VW of a 54-year-old man from Kalletal. The 59-year-old was slightly injured in the traffic accident and taken to hospital. The vehicles were damaged to the tune of around 8,000 euros.
