Traffic accident on a slippery road

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on Osnabrücker Straße yesterday (11.2.) at 5.45 am. A 23-year-old man from Borgholzhausen was driving his VW in the direction of Bünde when he lost control of his vehicle shortly after the junction with Schäferweg. The car skidded into the ditch on the slippery road. A witness who became aware of the accident looked after the 23-year-old, who was injured in the accident, until an ambulance was called. He was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The damage to property amounts to around 4000 euros.
