Traffic accident when turning

(jd) A 24-year-old female motorcyclist was driving her motorcycle on Rintelner Straße towards Vlotho at 11.45 a.m. yesterday (17.6.). At the same time, a 77-year-old woman from Vlotho was driving her Ford on Borlefzener Kirchweg in the direction of Rintelner Straße. When the woman wanted to turn left at the junction there, she first stopped at the stop line and allowed another road user to pass. She then initiated the turning maneuver and collided with the motorcycle. The 24-year-old sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to hospital by an ambulance. Property damage of around 6,000 euros was caused.
