(um) The Herford police traffic commissioner's office is currently investigating a hit-and-run that occurred on Wednesday in Gohfeld on Koblenzer Straße. A 10-year-old girl was walking at the traffic circle on Bültestraße when a 40-50 year old car driver drove through the traffic circle. The car ran over the young pedestrian's foot and injured her. Without looking after the child, the man continued his journey and drove on. The accident happened at around 12:45 pm. The schoolgirl then appeared later with her mother at the Bad Oeynhausen police station and filed a complaint. In this context, the police are asking for witnesses to provide information about the exact course of the accident and the gray car that fled the scene. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
