Traffic accident with personal injury

(um) Yesterday, at around 11:30 a.m., a lady was riding her bicycle on Südlenger Straße and turned left into Elsemühlenweg. At this moment, a car turned left from Elsenmühlenweg into Südlenger Straße at high speed. The cyclist only managed to prevent the silver Mercedes from hitting her completely by braking quickly. After coming into contact with the mudguard, the woman falls with her bike. The driver of the car simply drives on and pays no attention to the seventy-year-old from Bünde. Two other witnesses at the scene of the accident help the woman up, enabling her to receive medical treatment later in hospital. The police are asking these two witnesses to contact the police. The investigation by the Herford traffic commissioner's office is ongoing. The fleeing vehicle is believed to be a silver-grey Mercedes station wagon.
