(hd) On Wednesday evening (01/01/2025) at around 7:35 p.m., a 22-year-old man intended to drive his VW Tiguan from the parking lot of an indoor playground on Kiebitzstraße in Herford into the flow of traffic. In doing so, he overlooked a Skoda driving on Kiebitzstraße in the direction of Füllenbruchstraße. The two cars collided. A 19-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the VW Tiguan, was slightly injured in the collision. Both vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged. They were no longer roadworthy. The damage to property is estimated to be at least 12,000 euros.
