(hd) On Easter Sunday (20.04.2025), a 54-year-old woman parked her Audi Q3 car on Benter Weg in Herford at around 5:15 pm. When she returned to her vehicle at 8:00 p.m., she discovered that it now had accident damage. Apparently, a stranger had hit the victim's Audi with his vehicle when parking or leaving a parking space. The person responsible for the accident drove away from the scene of the incident without having initiated a claim settlement. Witness statements indicate that the vehicle that caused the accident may have been a beige estate car. The damage to the Audi Q3 is estimated at around 2000 euros. The Herford police traffic commissioner's office has taken over the investigation. Other witnesses who can provide relevant information about the accident and the fleeing car are asked to contact the police on 05221 / 888-0.
