An attentive witness discovered an open window at an elementary school on Mindener Straße at around 08:00 on Sunday morning (September 1). Further investigations revealed that the window had been forced open by previously unknown perpetrators. The perpetrators got inside the school through this window and searched several rooms. Further checks at the school will have to show whether the unknown perpetrators took any stolen goods from the school. The criminal investigation department has taken up the investigation and is asking further witnesses who can provide information about the break-in to call 05221-8880. The time of the crime is between Friday afternoon (30.8.) and the time it was discovered on Sunday morning.
