(jd) At around 7.30 a.m. on Saturday (12.10.), a man from Herford noticed a theft from his company vehicle. Previously unknown perpetrators apparently attacked the car, a Fiat Diabolo, under cover of darkness at night in order to get hold of stolen goods from the car. The man from Herford had parked the vehicle on Höpker-Aschoff-Weg at 9 p.m. the previous evening and locked it. In the morning, a jukebox, an OTDR measuring device and an identity document were missing from inside the vehicle. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation and is asking any witnesses who observed anything suspicious between Friday evening and Saturday morning to call 05221/8880.
