(jd) Six homeowners called the police over the course of the weekend due to attempted and completed burglaries. On Friday (March 1), the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators first targeted a semi-detached house in Habichtstraße at around 7.30 pm. This remained an attempted break-in, while a few minutes later the stranger or strangers attacked a neighboring house. They rummaged through cupboards and drawers in several rooms. An inventory of the possible stolen goods has not yet been completed.
There were then four more break-ins on Saturday: In Schulgarten Street, the perpetrator or perpetrators forcibly opened a patio door between 6.30 p.m. and 11 p.m. and took a three-digit amount of cash. In Salzuflener Straße, unknown persons attacked a detached house between 6 p.m. and the early hours of Sunday morning and stole a four-figure sum of cash. Between 9 p.m. and midnight, unknown persons then attacked a house in Bonneberger Straße and rummaged through various cupboards and drawers in almost every room. The extent to which stolen goods were taken is still under investigation. There was also a break-in in Friedhofstraße during a similar period, and the list of possible stolen goods has not yet been completed.
