Unknown persons break into trailer

(jd) On Friday (2 August), the employee of a haulage company parked a locked Schmitz Cargobull trailer on the street Am Straßenverkehrsamt at around 8.00 pm. When the man then returned to his parked trailer at around 6.00 a.m. yesterday, he discovered that the trailer doors had been forced open. A padlock that additionally secured the doors was no longer on the trailer. After an initial inspection, the unknown perpetrator(s) opened a cardboard box and stole two board games from it. The police are asking possible witnesses who observed anything conspicuous in the area of Am Straßenverkehrsamt over the course of the weekend to contact them on 05221/8880.
